Terms and Conditions

Promoter
This competition is run by FarmRanger, a division of Etse Electronics, referred to hereafter as “the Promoter”.
2.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all South African farmers.
3.
How to Enter – non clients
Request a quotation and make the payment for any FarmRanger Collar whether GSM or Satellite. The payment needs to reflect in our account before your entry will be deemed valid. Each collar purchased equates to one entry. To earn one BONUS entry, participants can share the official competition Facebook post publicly on their timeline. This entry will be deemed invalid if a collar is not also purchased or if the person sharing the post is not an existing client.
4.
How to enter – clients
All existing FarmRanger clients automatically receive one entry into the draw. To earn one BONUS entry, participants can share the official competition Facebook post publicly on their timeline. More shares will not result in more entries. In addition, every additional collar you purchase during this time will result in an entry. Each collar purchased = one entry. Dummy collars purchased do not result in competition entries.
5.
Prize
The (one) winner will receive:
5.1.
A voucher for a weekend away – to be sent to the winner after confirmation. The weekend away prize is not transferable for cash and must be redeemed within 6 months of the announcement unless otherwise agreed. ‘The voucher’ refers to a R15,000.00 voucher for accommodation only.
5.2.
One additional FarmRanger Livestock Security Collar free of charge*.
The promoter will absorb the following costs:
5.2.1.
The hardware cost of up to R2,700 and
5.2.2.
One year free subscription to the value of R3,960.
5.2.3.
*The free collar does not include the cost of future service or subscription fees after 1 year from date received. After one year the winner becomes liable to pay the monthly subscription costs in full to keep the collar and service active.
6.
Important Dates
- Entries close: 15 August 2025
- Winner announced: 22 August 2025 on the official FarmRanger Facebook Page. The winner will also be contacted directly.
7.
General
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries.
- By entering, participants agree to be contacted by FarmRanger for marketing purposes and agree to the use of their name and/or photo for promotional purposes if selected as the winner.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
